   PLEASE do not think this is a "who do you like better" poll. Through my 

progressive music experience I have found Genesis and Van Der Graaf 

Generator to be the two most emotional bands. Out of these two, which 

band do you find more emotional?

It was very close for me but I chose Genesis by a hair. I think it would 

interesting to hear what you guys think.

	Both bands. when the "emotional" takes over, the Beautiful -yet strong- music of Genesis is very usefull. And the VDGG albums are sonic nightmares to enjoy on days of rage. I have a soft spot for those two bands. This days, I'm very into electronic music, experimental rock and those kind of things. But I listen to Genesis or Van der Graaf Generator at least one time every week.

	Genesis is great and all but in IMO dont come close to the greatness of VDGG. Well ofcourse some of thire albums and songs does like Foxtrot and The Lamb... but all in all VDGG have more emotion then Genesis, and VDGG never did one bad album.

	I voted for Genesis, though I love VDGG also.

	Both are great bands but i prefer early Genesis.

	Both are very emotional bands... great bands... In general, i like Genesis more.. but I found Hammill's voice and lyrics to be more emotional and thoughtful

	Voted Genesis, but love both. They are both very emotional bands, but I think I'm more in tune with Genesis emotionally than VDGG.
	Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

	I considered third option, but since VDGG are losing, they have my vote.
