Only the Banten springs to mind right now Blackie. Did you manage to track down the sensational Yog Sothoth LP ? Zeuhl Top 10 material ! I've been listening to Hiatus a lot recently. Zeuhl 6 !

Unfortunately it was only the CD reissue on Swordfish label. I have been doing some buisness with a store in Melbourne (city in Australia), he was dumped with a whole lot of second hand CD's and vinyl's. From his list I have also been able to pick up:
Food Brain - s/t
Magical Power Mako - Super Record
Debris' - Static Disposal
for 1500 yen each.

I was trying to find more information about Yog-Sothoth the other day, I found very little. I also need some Shub-Niggurath.

I did actually, back while I living at my parents place it went for sometime like 4400 yen on ebay... original vinyl. So I was quite happy to get my hands on it. Unfortunately the same person was selling the second Eider Stellaire; but I was serverly out bid, went for more than I was will to pay.
On related bands, Claire send me 000 the other day. Have listened through it once so far (the other day), good to still see they guys carrying on from where Shub-Niggarath folded. Loved the drumming tones

I notice you've been listening to ex-Girl Gecksy.
I shagged their old drummer in an internet cafe a while back

Thanks for that image, Yu. I quite like them actually. I'm glad this album isn't all J-Pop, it gets much better at the end.

This album certainly picked up somewhat. Their cover of Pop Music made me laugh though. It's better than the original mind you.
I even hear some zeuhl in there, good stuff indeed.

The band are big fans of Magma but to me they sound like a mix of Shonen Knife and Minekawa Takako: Short, catchy, and aggressive pop with lots of bleeps and effects.
By the way, nothing could be better than M's original!

As I don't known Shonen Knife or Minekawa Takako, I'll take your word for it. Let's talk about... POP MUSIC!

Talking of Zeuhl, I heard the unreleased Weidorje album and preferred it to their "debut", which I also really enjoy.
I also have Eskaton's unreleased 4th album, but have yet to hear it.

Their new album is awesome, I think I may prefer it to 8.8, which is also awesome.
Do send my regards to them, especially Mizagawa (or whatever her name is).

That's the one.
Yes, do say hello to her on my behalf and let the guys know they have a British fan! I'm sure they'll be glad to hear that.

She is an amazing piano player, I must admit. Just mention my name and I'm sure they'll have heard of me. Actually, that's unlikely.
