For some reason I could never get into Gryphon, maybe I oughta try a different album.
Comus gets my vote just a little before amazing Shub Niggurath.

Gryphon. Shub is just a bit too dark for my taste and I have an ambivalent opinion about Comus.

Haven't heard Comus and SN, so I can't vote for Gryphon ... yet.

I made a folk mix CD once that included Comus' The Herald, Gryphon's version of The Unquiet Grave, and some Linda Perhacs, Tea and Symphony, Forest and Vashti Bunyan.
