Pendragon. Never been a Saga fan ...

Saga did not make any Masquerade Overture or Pure so far, so Pendragon easily.

I see it as follows; One of them made an album called Generation 13, the other one didn't. LOL

Some may say this is acceptable trolling. I'm not sure. I rather dislike the practise.

If they didn't then some other unsuspecting person would assume that PA was nowt but Pendragon and Saga fans, comment accordingly and thus get accused of being a troll.

Some polls here have a "Both" option, perhaps a "Neither" option would be appropriate as well. In any case, why is it your concern if someone likes neither or both equally and states their opinion? Is it any different than when a poster insults and degrades a band in a poll when they are clearly fans of the other band in the poll? Doesn't that in fact occur in almost every poll? Much ado about nothing.

I like Saga but l love Pendragon, they didn't record average albums as did Saga but i know it's very subjective

That's a relief. I would hate for you to strain your typing finger over an inconsequential series of posts on a music forum. I would put a smiley emoticon here, but I feel it would ruin the sincerity of my post.
