Someone set a poll of Pat Metheny albums, but there are a lot of omissions....
I've tried to make a full discography poll... but 25 limit....
So I split albums with ECM era and Geffen Era....
This is the first poll of PM albums Edited by Rexez73 - July 06 2010 at 19:16 |

First Circle is fantastic, but I'm going to have to go with Offramp as my favorite, for Are You Going With Me.

I have soft spot for 1978s Pat Metheny Group.

That's an excellent album alongside American Garage.

I have most of these on vinyl, my vote goes to Watercolors. This is a great album by Metheny and crew. There are some very atmospheric tracks on this album. Kind of overlooked in the Metheny discog.

I feel a progressive music character included enough as for the work from 81 to 84 years though I personally support Bright Size Life.

I've got all but three of these and the only one I haven't heard is Song X. I'm going for the one that introduced me to Pat - American Garage.
Falcon and the Snowman, which I don't have, is an interesting movie. Good soundtrack work as I recall. Edited by Slartibartfast - July 07 2010 at 05:09 |

Heard American Garage being played over a record shops main speakers, and bought it then and there - and It's stood the test of time. Witcha has it moments and comes a close second

I prefer Bright Size Life: fresh every time I play it, even after 35 years!
