Plenty of faves on this list Dennis - kudos on your taste in French prog (even if you're missing Heldon's Stand By
![]() I voted for the funk-zeuhl of Plat du Jour (Stevie Wonder's French brothers), Ange's Caricatures, Shub, Clearlight Symphony, Magma, The Strands of the Future and Igor Wakhevitch's completely baffling yet at the same time monstrously beautiful Docteur Faust.

Never heard of Motis. Just had a look on their PA discography...Taurus pedals, Tron, Moog, Hammond...looks like L'homme-Loup is a good place to start. Just looked on youtube and it seems most of the songs from the album are there... Thanks for the tip...or should I say, "Merci"

Have almost all of these as French Prog used to be my main thing. Won't vote for all I like, but am voting for Docteur Faust, Les Morts Vont Vite, Plat du Jour, and Chronolyse. Could also add votes for Clearlight Symphony, Arachnoid, Gialorgues, Et Apres, and En Regardent Passer les Temps, Udu Wudu etc.

Voted for Clearlight as that is the only one I am familiar with. Looks like a lot to explore.
Did see Jean-Michel Jarre on the list, like quite a few of his albums.

I like early Atoll and Ange. One I have really enjoyed immensely in recent months is Emmanuel Booz's Dans quel état j'erre, released in 1979. It's insane!
