I love both, but Lark's have the best formaton of the band, IMO, and was a pinnacle to my Crimson listenings...

I chose Lark's Tongues... The Wetton era is my favorite.

Larks' Tongues in Aspic. This album defines nowadays King Crimson.

These are the only two Crimson albums I own.
I like Lizard more, Cirkus is a good track.

Agreed. |
same they are both better than most prog out there, If I HAD to pick it'd be Lizard, that bolero is gorgeous
|
ISN'T IT!! I love that bolero, Is it the flute that plays that wonderful melody or is it some sort of horn? I might be a little vague here, But it gets slightly quieter and this wonderful melody enters, Comes in a few times

Lizard was great, very symphonic and even teatrical with Haskells deep voice and also great wind instruments! But Lark´s is not even one step forward in music...its a whole kilometer! This album is so adventurous and at the same time quite easy to enjoy...excellent, the best after ITCOTCK!!!

They Both are so different I dont think I can Pick One
Maybe if the poll was asking something more specific about the two LP's Like wich was a better addition Wetton ore Haskell. Then I think we could (maybe) decide.
(I still couldnt)

Lark's Tongue, but if Jamie Muir, would not have been in that album, Lizard would be my choice.
