Album name: Shelter
There are NO black/death metal elements. It's the Alcest your mom wants you to listen to It's the Alcest you don't tell your metal friends you like... But when you go behing closed doors you enjoy it. Has anyone heard? Thoughts??? ![]() |

This LP is indeed interesting and enjoyable, much closer to what I know of the band live. I'd never call it Metal though.

Listening to it right now for the first time and am enjoying very much. That it is or is not metal bothers me not in the least. It's definitely more Sigur Ros-like and certainly quite beautiful.

The damage that we do just goes on and on and on but not long enough. --Robyn Hitchcock |

lost any interest in Alcest since 2012's release, 2007 and 2010 were really cool though
funny enough, we're supporting them in Kiev this Summer) |
