...just got this cd.

anyone else think the wooden blocks sound too over the top ?

i wish the powers-that-be would remaster this & at the same time mix out the blocks.

at times they remind me of a woody woodpecker cartoon.

but overall, i still like this italian music.

CORTE DEI MIRACOLI was another avantgarde group under the Grog label (which released also the debut albums of CELESTE and MANDILLO). They published a very good album in 1976 which also had an extremely good graphic design and concept. The album is very interesting as it detaches itself from foreign models, and this happens in spite of the fact that the group continued along the line of symphonic rock. A lot of space was given to different types of keyboard and vocals. Guest guitarist Vittorio De Scalzi (from NEW TROLLS) also appears in "E Verrà L' Uomo". Unfortunately, just like in CELESTE's case, after releasing an album the group broke up.

One of the best Italian Prog works!!!

I think it's a fantastic spacey album, with a great atmospheric vibe and excellent keyboards ... one of the last great Italian Symphonic prog albums of the 70s, IMO
"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”

"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."
