An entirely unapologetic love letter to Pink Floyds: Echoes.

Probably a mix of the Live At the BBC 1971 and Pompeii. Created in an eclectic style of GrungeTrip and a bit of everything from the 80s onwards. All recorded at a kitchen table Di'd to a tascam digital 8-track and a Cash-Convertors £50 laptop. Guitars are of note: a partscaster made of an £80 Amazon Strat with humbuckers added in. A £60 bass from amazon with black nylon wound strings. And hundreds of hours of trying to hit the sweet spot through the entire track.

Remember, lights off, and headphones on.

Do what you must to adjust consciousness.

And enjoy!

Two fold really. It was more commentary on Slajov Zizek "when the commies are dead" (samples all the way through on life, the universe, love etc). And secondly, essentially the whole thing is a demo. If was ever to do it live, I'd definitely rewrite the lyrics.

Glad you enjoyed it!

P.S. Childhoods end, not Mudmen, and it does have an Obscured by Clouds vibe besides Echoes. Glad you noticed that!

Also, does it show it was recorded at a kitchen table? (Not the drums, Andrea Moneta of Leviathan did most of them - only samples are an original version of the Amen-beat and a rendition of that). I notice you're a bit of a master of the soul-kitchen sound, too. Amazing what we can knock together when we put our souls into it.
