Does anyone know why they chose the name, The Enid?
Did they have some Druid connections?

Anything of any importance was known as The Enid long before the band was thought of, and in a sense it was one of those private little jokes, but when we came to look for a name for the band, particularly when we had a manager who was insisting that the name of the band ought to be Thanksgiving, which I really could not tolerate, I mean, I just wasn't going to have that, The Enid seemed the obvious choice." I thought that it might have something to do with the Enaid from Druidry. https://www.reddit.com/r/druidism/comments/c5yz6c/what_is_the_enaid/ Especially when so many of their songs seem to have a druid connection.
