A British progressive electronic duo from Ramsgate, Kent, Suspirium consist of Brian Vogt (keyboards/percussion) and guitarist Tony Osbourne (guitars/percussion). Playing an industrial-inspired take on the kosmische musik of early Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, Suspirium craft a varied and experimental array of instrumentals blending synths, processed guitars and looped samples, ranging from dark, shadowy and abstract ambience to melodic and accessible pieces, occasionally with programmed beats and sequencers. Their style has drawn comparisons to Fripp & Eno, Cluster, Conrad Schnitzler, Heldon, Peter Frohmader and Asmus Tietchens. Vogt and Osbourne released over two dozen albums on cassette from 1991 to 1998 before entering a long hiatus, but would resume activity in the mid-2010s, remastering and archiving most of their discography on Bandcamp and CD-R while continuing their prolificacy with a steady stream of new material.

Suspirium are reminiscent of Lightwave, the Interstellar Cementmixers, the Nightcrawlers, Arzathon, Ash Ra Tempel and Sky Burial.

(Once more, in the face of a daunting discography, I'll only post a handful of links for samples. The band, just like the rather similar Endgame - whose Freeman brothers have championed and distributed Suspirium's music - have conveniently put together a sampler with selections taken from across their works):

Is this the right photo?

One way to embed Discogs images is to copy and paste it onto a third-party image hosting website. I find imgur.com to be the most convenient for this purpose.

Thank you both. I appreciate the advice, Mira, and will keep that in mind if I'm forced to rely on Last.fm or Discogs in the future.
