Glass Harp biography
An Ohio-based rock trio GLASS HARP were founded in 1968 by Phil KEAGGY (guitars), John SFERRA (drums), and Steve MARKULIN (bass) who was replaced by Daniel PECCHIO in the following year. Being inspired by 60s rock legends like Cream or Jimi Hendrix, they developed their own sound approach and signed a contract with MCA / Decca Records whilst gigging with some rock giants like Traffic, Yes, The Kinks, Humble Pie, Alice Cooper, and Grand Funk Railroad, on stages ranging from the Filmore to Carnegie Hall. Their debut eponymous album was released in 1970 via Decca, followed by "Synergy" (1971) and "It Makes Me Glad" (1972).

In 1981, GLASS HARP were reunited when John and Daniel made attendances at two consecutive Phil's solo concerts in Ohio in a surprising manner. They unleashed a live album "Live at Carnegie Hall" in 1997, and "Hourglass" in the summer of 2003, their first new studio album in 31 years, awaited for a long while by lots of fans.
