5 stars Some songs are the same in this album, anyway the result is the same of the previous two, an unique blend of fusion, avant-garde, ethnic, middle-eastern, oriental and pop. Quite unique and excellent. Shafi work on the drums is incredible. Explendid.

1 stars After band's first excellent album this one is too bad and poor. I think that this album does not have anything that can make it the part of Progressive Rock, perhaps this is quite good electronic dance music? Anyway, i can't imagine how could Gunnesh record such a terrible piece after amazing debut???

5 stars For me the second album is so good like the first one. In spite of the first audition to be not much difficult, the next ones help to like more and more this work. Richard Shafi continues the fusion between the ethnic thing and the jazz, when great Zappian atmosphere is containing this album. If you like Frank Zappa you like this. It is a surprising band

4 stars The third and last album from the Turkmenistan band Gunesh Ensemble is surely the less inventive and the most conventional, but still remain a great album. More fusion oriented than it's predecessors, it's flawless denoting a huge music tecnique from all the members of the band. But overall shine the drum of Rishad Shafi, always able to give an extra to each song with his fantastic beats. 4 stars like 5 for Looking at the Earth are maybe too much, but this band was playing this music in the middle of central asia steps during the communism period, so 4 stars is the right value for this album.

SDome peolple don't like very much this album because it's a litle hard the first audition but i like discovered the work of single music instruments and after, listen the music in a global way. Rishad Shafi in is best, To me, one of the most best ever percussions musicians of all time. The ritm is in his heart. If you listen his last performances, you can see what I'm talking about. But Gunesh Ensemble is not only Rishad Shafi. The other members of the band are brilliant to. I give 5 stars. Don't forget that in this time in old USSR, Rock Music was Persona Non Grata, but we have brilliant bands born in East Europe in 70 decade. Gunesh Ensemble is one of then.
