4 stars THIS ALBUM IS A TRIBUTE TO BOB CALVERT, POET, WRITER, MUSICIAN EXTRAORDINAIRE

Of course John Lewis (Music World) best words in the sleevenotes you could not find them.

My review start with a strange note: For me there are too many similarities between punk and Motorhead and Hawkwind because everything is a coincidence. But having said that there are thousands of miles between Punk and Hawkwind and Motorhead, but not more than a thousand!

This is a live album recorded in 1978 and start with '25 Years' a good song with good atmosphere but the masterpiece of this album is the Space Symphonic ballad 'High Rise' because mix between Hawkwind and VDGG. This ballad is extremely excited. But if Blink 182 or Green Day (or POP Punk or NU Metal) are your best bands... It will mean that you have never heard the Hardcore of "Death Trap" a perfect song for a contemporary Hardcore/ POP Punk/ NU Metal band! The rest of the album is in perfect Hawkwind style, without failure or drop in quality.

In essence, one wonders why Hawkwind is a band not listed as Yes, Genesis, Deep Purple, VDGG, Wishbone Ash or King Crimson. Also because with music as the music of this album...
