5 stars The best album of 2012 - quite possibly...

A weird, wild and wonderful ride. Motorpsycho, with help, have created a unique offering that stacks up well against the notable and honored concept albums of the past and extends the sound palette we normally associate with progressive rock. I think of this disc as the weird offspring of a marriage between free jazz and heavy prog. While at first listening, the mid section of the two-disc offering does tend to lag, I have found that after repeated listening the mid section provides the perfect respite between the chaos of the opening and the thunder of the closing.

If you are up for a jazzy festival of heavy progressive music, this disc is for you. To my ears, it is a modern masterpiece. Easily 5 out of 5.
