4 stars This album is a Queen classic. I think is not prog but it's a very good album. This one is the last from their "progressive era". After Jazz, Queen comes a pop band with "The Game", "Hot Space", "A Kind of Magic" and stuff but always with the Queen sound, that sound that only they can make. In this record, there's a little bit of all. "Mustapha" it's a song that I really enjoy listen. That arabian sound is very good. It starts with Freddie's vocals: "Ibrahim.............." and then continues with a nice arabian melody and guitar explosions in some parts. "Fat bottomed Girls" it's a hard rock song, very popular on their shows with a catchy chorus. A very good classic. "Jealousy" it's a beautiful ballad. The melody is excellent here. Freddie's vocals are excellent too. It's a wonderful ballad and very listenable. "Bycicle Race" it's a total classic. It's an operistic song with a very catchy melody. Very good perfomance by all the musicians, and of course, by Freddie. "If you can't beat them" it's a good hard rock song. Very, very catchy song. I think it's like an introduction to the 80's sound. You can also realize that when you hear it, the melody. The guitar solo it's very good. It goes perfectly with the song. Then the classic "Let me Entertain You", the funny and jazzy "Dreamer's Ball". Conclusion: it's a very good Queen album, very enjoyable and not prog at all, but it deserves 4 stars.
