THIS IS ... GRACIOUS !!

Strangely this band had been out of my attention for a long time and today I had the chance to hear their two albums. What to say, while not exactly fantastic, it is quite interesting indeed. Very diverse, at times somewhat lacking direction, but with some very beautiful moments, like the movements of the Mellotron-drenched epic "Super Nova" or "Once On A Windy Day", with it's amazing vocal harmonies. "C.B.S." and "Blue Skies And Alibis" also hold some dynamic and heavy playing. Especially recommended to those who like some bluesy garnish to their symphonic meal. Three and a half stars rounded up to four. It shows that the band definitely had some more ideas to offer and their premature splitting up was a pity.
