AWAKE

Ok, I like Dream Theater. Maybe 'cause I'm one of those "14-year-old-wannabe-guitar- heroes" or just cause I like complicated music. But I have to say that this album is one of the worst of this incredible band. The songs are quite heavy and the arrangements are much worse than the enormous album "Images & Words". One of the better songs is "Erotomania", great solos, as we are used to DT. The rest is quite uninteresting. When you want to get a glimpse of the music by DT, you should listen to "Metropolis Pt 2" or "Images & Words". I'm looking forward to the new album "Octavarium"! That's it. Greets from Germany
