4 stars With a first listen to the opening song one might think 'what happened to my Opeth?' but when you start getting into the album you realize it's still all there. The only track that isn't over 10 mins. long is the instrumental 'For absent Friends' which really is a great song. The only let down woould have to be the end onf 'Deliverance' which is (surprisingly) repeative. It's about 4 mins. of the same metal riff over and over again. All the other tracks are really well done especially 'A Fair Judgement' and 'Master's Apprentices', the later of which is probably one of Opeth's heaviest songs ever. A great album to buy for any Opeth fan, this one should be in the collection.
