4 stars I love Transatlantic, the idea, concept and execution. This is a phenomenal album with only 1 questionable track: Suite Charlotte Pike. Now, it may just be me, and I am not a fan of the Beatles, but this song does nothing for me. I have read that it is an homage to the Beatles, but I cannot see that really. The beginning of the track is quite silly, with a que missed by Neal and the joking that follows. Once that is out of the way, the first part of the song is very good, till we get to the preachy Majesty bit. Makes me feel like I am in church! Ughhh. Needless to say, this one gets the skip every time: Minus one star for this tragedy.

The rest of the album is fantastic, 5 star material. Duel with the Devil is jaw-dropping every time I hear it. Stranger in your Soul is a prog marvel of loud-quiet bits. Nearly acoustic, Bridge across Forever is the quiet breather song amidst the frantic pacing of the rest. Very enjoyable.

All in all, a great album. Even with the exclusion of SCP, we get 56mins of amazing prog. Good bang for the buck, if you ask me!
