HYDROPHONIA

What a treat for a meloman! Great instrumental album - that is highly recommended for those who loves the Flower Kings in the era when they did produce lovely melodic prog. How i wish, and i know i`m not alone, how i wish mr. Roine to release Hydrophonia part II. To me this one and album by Tomas Bodin - Sonic Boulevard, are true Swedish Gems of modern instrumental prog, which unfortunatelly so underrated... It has fabulous atmosphere with James on drums and some lovely soprano sax playing. with this authentic pastoral atmosphere. I love first half of the album more, i think if it would fit Vinyl format - 45mins - it`ll just be more brighter! But it`s just my humble opinion. Anyway this album deserve 5 stars!! (especially when you compare it to such fillers like "Wall Street Voodoo" & (bit better but still far from this one "Manifesto of Alchemist") There`s another 5 star album in Roines Stolt discography - " The Flower KING" which is more well known in proggers circle. Come on, listen to Hydrophonia!
