ANGELS' DREAMS

This is a somewhat simpler version of Quidam than the one found in their debut album, with rhythmic patterns sticking to basic backbeat and its variations, but retaining, maybe even increasing, their melodic charm and classical harmonic richness. The key aspect here, to my taste at least, is that the winged voice of Emila Derkowska grows lighter than ever, and always keep finding new paths for melody.

The overall sound and feel remind me of Clannad in, let's say, "Macalla", if one skips the celtic passages. The electric guitar of Maciek Meller throw in the mix some excellent, even unforgettable lead moments, like in "Cheerful". Did I mentioned Emila? Well, she'll amaze you more than once, listen "Little Bird With No Legs", and tell me not.
