2 stars I have been revisiting Marillion and Fish during these pandemic COVID-19 times. I found myself astonished by Vigil in the wilderness of mirrors, but disappointed with the next solo effort from FISH, named Internal Exiles. There is a clear new direction, free and easy listening, yet less progressive, and since this is a progressive rock forum, this album would not be an important audition to prog-rockers. Fish's voice still magnificent and there are quite good songs, my favorite is the opening track SHADOWPLAY. Credo and just good friends are also interesting tracks, but I lose my interest as a listen to the next tracks, which are more pop directed. Some songs just look like fillers and I can't get attracted to it like Favorite Stranger. I rate it 2 stars.
