4 stars Actually a very good record, but with a lack of drama, to be honest i expected a little bit more of this record, but in the end is the real prescedent of what it turned out to be the OSI record... really. Is quite a dark album, with very solid rhythm and obvious craft for the vocal, levaing of course the main role for the guitar, and surprinsingly to the keys (courtesy of Kevin Moore). However, the record got is peak point in the 8th part of it, a real interaction in-between guitar and keybords, and ends with a sad 12th part that reminds you a very "pleasant shade of GREY". Anyway, is a very good effort from a band that really converted from heavy metal to prog-metal, the true "forefathers" of this genre. period, a must if you are interested in documenting the development of music.
