THE YES ALBUM

Sure, it's a good progressive rock album, but it can't seem to get close to me. I really like "Starship Trooper" , it's a great song, almost an epic, very good composition. In my opinion, the real face of what would be symphonic music added to an rock ensemble is shown on "Close to the Edge", not on "The Yes Album".

Of course, this disc gives us strongs hints of what is to come, but i look at it as an "unfinished" piece. It resembles "Fragile", but the latter has better stand-alone songs. Best musician on this album would be Steve Howe I guess.
