5 stars Not often I see women's reviews here on PA. However, there are many young ladies who love Renaissance, Pink Floyd, Argent, Genesis, Ciccada and even much heavier bands like Rush, Dream Theatre and others. Recently a friend of mine told me that a new album by Modern-Rock Ensemble had been released - "Night Dreams & Wishes", but in his opinion the album is targeting mainly a masculine auditorium. But, I had already heard and liked their previous album "Touch the Mystery". For sure, the new album is different, but has many advantages. I am an architect and love development of design and form. In this album, I observed development of musical themes, emotions, pressure and vivid culminations. There are many interesting arrangements, vocal duets, bright instrumental parts. I also loved flute and acoustic guitars in the pieces. The album has huge number of beautiful melodic themes, and this is one of its main advantages. Yes, it took me some efforts and a number of attempts to understand the Dark Kingdom and the Evil King Part 2. This part was the most complicated for me. But afterwards I got the point of it's development, dynamics and dramatics. My favorite piece of the album is Wake Up - nice arrangement, unusual harmony and friendly manner of Vladimir's vocal. Charming pieces for me are: Night Comes. Dreams, Final/Outro, Insomnia, Childhood? I am intrigued by the general idea of the album, it's conceptuality and I sincerely give it a 5 star rate.
