4 stars Great way to open the 3rd decade of progressive rock domination...well, nearly 3 decades. It's great to see that Geddy and the gang have continued to use money, greed, and chance as a theme in their music, if you remember, songs like The Big Money, from 1985's Power Windows were songs that outlined money and such other 'necessities' in today's life.

In fact, some of these beliefs stand true today. With the way people are, being materialistic and always requiring money in their lives, along with the gambles that we take on a daily basis, we see that these elements exist strongly today.

My faves on this album are Neurotica, Roll The Bones, and my fave, The Big Wheel. I take this line, especially:

"I was only a kid, crusin' round in a trance prisoner of fate victim of circumstance I was lined up for glory but the tickets sold out in advance"

I live by that lyric, because I find myself to be caught up within the twists of today's modern beliefs that money makes the world go round, and taking chances is common in all of us. I don't believe that, and I'm glad that there is an album like this that tells you exactly what is meant to be said.

Sorry if I bored you with all of this, but it's what was on my mind...lol

Anyway, great album by a great band, Geddy, Alex, and Neil, three of the greatest guys in progressive rock history!
