3 stars Like Presto, this album is a little flat. Songs like Face Up, The Big Wheel, You Bet Your Life and Ghost of a Chance don't wear well in the long term because they kind of drag. There's no tempo change that wows you or sound that you've never heard before that would make it unique. The album doesn't instill the same passion and energy of a 2112 or Moving Pictures. I enjoyed the guitar/bass playing in Neurotica. That's definitely one of there best here. Bravado kind of takes awhile to grow on you musically, but the lyrics are powerful. Track 3 (RTB) definitely is upbeat, but I didn't care fore the rap insertion. It sounded kind of teenybopperish. It was good to get another "all instrumental" song for the Rush collection. If you like the pop-metal sound, I would take HYF and Presto over this one.
