4 stars Maybe not so underrated album as it seems to be! After the formidable and majestic planetary saga belonging to the former two albums, Performance did not descend too much, IMO, the progressive sound of the band (even if we can talk about a little more hard-rock sound). The music formed by the same combination of drums, keyboards and synthesisers and hard-rock guitars does sound very well.

Very nice songs, some of them being even some small masterpieces: In disguise, Heartbeat and the last one-A broken Frame. Excellent intros on Heartbeat and A Broken Frame. Mirador is a good instrumental song with a strong bass in front of it.

Definitely, a very good Eloy album and a good point for Bornemann and his band, which does still keep the flame alive for the next one-Metromania. Recommended!
