4 stars This is the second effort released by Gildenlöw brothers & Company. One hour by the concrete lake is its title and shows us an advance in POS's sound as a band. Interesting rhythm changes go appearing from the begin to the end of the album, very dynamic, with a style very defined (sometimes melodic and some others very melancholic, like in a constant remembrance of the past, but thinking every time to the future), in general terms a record full of good ideas well mixed and because pain of salvation is certainly one of the most innovative bands nowadays in the progressive metal scene and for those who aren't very convinced from my own words about this or simply don't know a lot about these guys, just take a look to its following albums like perfect element, Pt.1 and Remedy Lane (great pieces of progressive music, no doubt!!!).

Personal highlights:

. Inside . Handful of Nothing . Water . Pilgrim
