OUT OF THE BLUE

It is difficult to state if ELO is or not a prog band for many people. In some aspects that's true but I think that they did a very interesting blend mixing pop music, symphonic prog and delicated orchestral arrangements. This album is very well balanced but maybe a little popish for my taste. One very interesting thing on it is that the orchestra sound is mixed perfectly with the band, a fact that is difficult to find in albums with band and a symphonic orchestra. I think that this album deserves 4 stars. I recommend it to people who want to know how a pop band must sound!
