Hi. I wrote this album review yesterday ( http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=1064324" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/Review.asp?id=1064324 )
I wrote it using Microsoft Word, then, copied/pasted to the PA album review box. The formatting (paragraphs) was lost in doing so. It came out on PA as one long paragraph. Do I need to write the review in the PA album review box to keep the formatting? Can I go and edit the review somehow and add the paragraphs to make it more readable?

After you copy/pasted it you should be able to use "<p>"(without quotes) or double press the 'enter' button to make paragraphs show up.

I enjoyed your Carla Bley review, and I'm gratified that my review sparked your interest in some way.  To fix the existing review, if you go to the main progarchives.com page and click on the "Collaborators/Members Login" link at the top of the page, it will then take you (you may need to log in first) to an option to "edit your reviews and ratings". Once you do this, you can go into the text box and insert line breaks as needed. I've found that copying from Word is not the best way to submit reviews -- the Word software has so much code embedded in it that doesn't often translate well to web interfaces like the one here. In the future, I'd suggest composing it in Notepad, where it's more of a raw text format. ------------- My other avatar is a Porsche It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle if it is lightly greased. -Kehlog Albran |

Thank You. Your review made that light switch in my head that goes on when I am in proximity to new music I should listen to comes 'round turn on. I will be happily immersed in Carla's music for the next few weeks or so.
I will try to edit the review, and, Notepad it is from now on.
