Nice easy one this!
Manticore's Breath is a Greek prog band that used to go by the name Will-O-The Wisp : http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3515" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3515 . The direction of the band changed a bit as they moved into a harder more retro direction. The music has a touch of a stoner vibe and most definitely 70s English sounding.
Manticore's Breath has the same line-up as the 2005 incarnation of Will-O-The Wisp (Takis Barbagalas: guitars, Agelos Gerakitis: vocals, Kostas Pagonas: bass and Kostas Kostopoulos: drums).
Their first 10inch EP was released in 2010, and included 2 songs indicating a shift towards a more heavy progressive approach.
Their 2011 album Death Breath actually established the new direction with 6 new tracks with heavy guitar riffs, a tight rhythm section and haunted vocals. The album was released on vinyl (600 copies - sold out) and on CD.
Manticore's Breath – Death Breath (2011) Full Length, Missing Vinyl – MV-WOW 003
1. Your Truth Is A Dead God (6:59) 2. Personal Demon (7:35) 3. Fields Of Youth (7:49) 4. I Became A Shadow (9:02) 5. Astral Lament (4:02) 6. Manticore (6:30)
Total Time 41:57
CD: Limited to 500 hand-numbered copies.
•250 red artwork •250 green artwork
LP: Ultra heavy tripple foldout textured leather cover, in 2 different colours.
Limited to 600 hand-numbered copies: •300 Red Transparent. •300 Green Transparent.
And a medley:
It just needs the bio updating by a friendly S.C. (including having the last dash removing from Will-O-The-Wisp (band's name was actually Will-O-The Wisp), and the EP and album adding to the discography, I guess...
Edit: cannot get the discogs link to work here - the apostrophe in Manticore's seems to be an issue for the forum software, and even if I replace it with %27, the link still won't open from within this post (both versions of the link work perfectly if you type them directly into the browser address bar though).

I'm not sure what you're proposing David... to add Manticore's Breath to the Will-Of-The Wisp bandpage or to suggest them for a separate eval as a new band?

Similar case to http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=93281" rel="nofollow - this one, Chris - where the band changed their name, but were the same personnel, and I updated the bio and simply added the album that was released under the new band name for Thanos at his request. Perhaps we should let the Psych boys make the call on what to do with this one?

Okay, I was aware of that one. Yeah it would require a check with the Psych guys as individual genre teams may well deal with this kind of thing differently.

If they are found to have changed styles, they should have a separate entry

I tend to say this needs a new band page, evaluation inclusively of course ... even if the staff seems to be identically equal

Upon reflection, it would probably make sense to always create a new page for a band or artist who changes the name under which any subsequent material is to be released - even if there is no change in style/sub genre involved. It invoves a bit more work I know, but as long as a link is included in the biography on each page to facilitate navigation to the other one, I think this would be a much tidier way of doing it than combining the discography in a single shared entry, with the two names by which the band or artist is known simply separated by a forward slash in the page heading.

I wondered what had happened to Will-o-the Wisp. An awesome band, I've been hoping for some time they would release something new.
The new sound is quite different and doesn't seem like something that belongs in Psych IMHO. This seems more like the case of Tyrannosaurus Rex and T. Rex to me, in which the core of the band remained the same but the music changed dramatically. Seems like a separate band entry is in order, probably in a different genre.
