It's a fine book written from a unique perspective (he's the only person on every Pink Floyd album)  but for reasons of politeness he mainly omitted the sex & drugs from the story.

I thought they were all people. Well except maybe Syd. Sex, drugs and Rock and Roll were probably the best part. Emerson mentions a lot about that in his book " Picture Of An Exhibitionist ". Best story was when he and another rock star ( can't remember who. have to check )  tried to swim from the Bahamas to England all wired up on coke. I don't think there was as much sex, drugs and rock and roll with Pink Floyd as we may think. They were more like Jethro Tull or Rush  when it it came to the wild side of the rock and roll image. I never read the book but flipped through it many times reading bits and pieces.
