Anyone see the countdown on Led Zeppelin's Facebook page? They are counting down to a release, perhaps a performance.

Of course Led Zeppelin were the original masters of the obscure announcement, something others have learnt from. E.g. Tool, Apple...

I think it's a countdown to the release of the 2007 reunion concert on DVD/Bluray
I was hoping for a tour, or album. But this is still good news

The setlist for that concert in 2007 was:
"Good Times Bad Times" "Ramble On" "Black Dog" "In My Time of Dying" "For Your Life" (live debut) "Trampled Under Foot" "Nobody's Fault But Mine" "No Quarter" "Since I've Been Loving You" "Dazed And Confused" "Stairway To Heaven" "The Song Remains The Same" "Misty Mountain Hop" "Kashmir" "Whole Lotta Love" "Rock And Roll
This should be good!

Yeah, I think it is for the reunion DVD. I heard it was very good, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Looks promising. They had to transpose some of the music down a bit for Robert to sing - normally a pet peeve of mine, but a small price to pay for something like this. So it'll be in theaters, huh? Bonus.

Robert Plant's voice was really good throughout this reunion concert. Compare to Black Sabbath's recent reunion where Ozzy is making a fool out of himself and the rest of the band.

Dear God, this is great news! Been waiting for something from the reunion concert for some time now. I hope I get to see it in a cinema here in Norway.

They must release this on DVD. They must! My bet is that it will follow the cinema shows and come out just in time for christmas. That would be sweet!

They will announce John Bonham's resurrection.
That would be insane.

It's good news we're getting this DVD, but I was kind of hoping for a tour and a new album. Hehe
It won't happen, though, because Robert doesn't want to reunite. I must say, having seen the O2 show on youtube, I was most impressed at how good they still sound. Robert is still excellent. Page probably sounds better now than he did at Knebworth (he was junked up with heroin at the time, sadly). Jason does his dad proud on the drums.
The clips might have been taken down now, after the announcement of this release. But oh well, I was waiting for a proper release of this, I was getting sick of listening to it on Youtube

Yep, Led Zeppelin existed for one year of the 1980s. It's sad, thinking of what material they could have done, which we never got to hear.
Still, they had a great run. I love all their albums, even the maligned last few ones, Presence, In Through the Out Door, and Coda (I'm a die hard fan)
I still don't think it's too late for them to reform (with Bonham's son on drums) and do one more album for old times sake.

I heard the reason Jones wasn't invited for the Page/Plant thing is because they didn't want it to be called 'Led Zeppelin'. If JPJ was on 'No Quarter Unledded', they'd be forced to call it LZ. Which I think was a bit unfair to JPJ.
I haven't heard Walking Into Clarksdale, but I heard it was a bit of a disappointment, considering it came from two of the primary lyricists for Led Zeppelin. I have the live CD 'No Quarter Unledded' though. The new songs didn't make that much of an impression on me.

New half hour press conference with all 3 members discussing the new DVD, the past, and the non-future. There's a few interesting comments between the watch glancing. Could you possibly look any more disinterested Robert?

Jimmy Page looks good. John Paul Jones plays as better than ever Robert Plant is synonym of golden god Jason Bonham is more presice than his father. But his father invented modern rock drumming.

It's because Bonzo is dead. He was his longtime friend. Robert is so shocked about his death that he would not play one song from LZ in his setlist right now.
