Hi guys,

We are Meta, a two man prog rock recording (for now) project. We will be releasing a 4 track EP entitled Haringer later this year.

Our first track off the EP, "Escape Velocity" was chosen by Prog Magazine to be included on their unsigned artists compilation CD to be handed out at the first annual Progressive Music Awards in September, and included in a special edition issue of the magazine itself covering the awards show.

Check us out, and if you like what you hear be sure to visit our website (in my signature below) and like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter.

Cheers!

-Alec

Guilty as charged! Porcupine Tree and Opeth are the two bands that myself and the drummer have the most common ground with. He still hasn't really gotten into the classic stuff all that deeply, but one step at a time! Wink

Hey everyone,

We have decided to release our EP digitally now! It will be available via the usual digital channels within a few days. However, we would like to offer a free download to the first five people to post on this thread in exchange for a quick writeup/review (just a paragraph or so letting us know what you thought).

If interest and demand are high enough we will do a CD pressing later this year as originally planned.

Thanks guys!

Woah!
That's all I could come up with after the song ended... Wonderful music and a lot of things brilliantly put together... Keep up the good work! Would really like to listen to some more of your music. The part coming up at around 4:30  was particularly ear-catching!
Cheers!

Great music wherever it ends up!  Thumbs Up
