I thought this was gonna be a discussion on Prog-Fusion Guitarist RECOMMENDATIONS worth checking out. I choose Al Di Meola Clap
The Jackknife sounds quite a bit like Return To Forever at the beginning, he's pretty good! A bit repetitive, but good!

Not bad, not bad at all.  But this is one category where the contemporaries are all good and the competition (so to speak) is tough.  My current favorite right now is Tony MacAlpine.
