Hey guys! After using this website for years I thought I'd check out the forums and maybe try to bring you to the attention of my humble, obscure little band Chowder. We released an album on Italy's I, Voidhanger Records this summer and I think it might have something to offer the folks here. The music is heavy (like Sabbath) and weird (like some weird band) and we use all the goodies! Moogs, real Mellotrons, Taurus Pedals! All the fun stuff. I'll give you some links to use at your convenience and would love to hear some feedback from anyone bored enough to have a listen...

Disclaimer: Chowder does not sound much like Dream Theater or Sieges Even (well, maybe a little "Steps" in there).

Main site at the label with 2 songs streaming and some reviews:

Another band site with our 4 song 2007 EP streaming and for download:

The dreaded Facebook page (be our friends?):

http://www.facebook.com/chowderdoom

A couple more (longer) streaming songs from the album which may interest proggers more:

A couple of interviews for the extremely, painfully bored at work:

Yay! If you made it this far you have our extreme gratitude and we hope you'll enjoy some of our noise!
