two of my favourite mid 60s art pop songs which have great chilling atmophere and crossover from symphonic and pop, or shall we say symphonic rock as well or baroque pop, chamber pop

I really like Old Friends.

I think it captures the unspoken bond between the 'old friends' brilliantly. It's a very poignant song.

I love the string orchestra freak out in the middle of it, too!
