Indeed. The guitarist in my band spend 10 minutes going through all his stuff to find his capo. Only after I asked what he was looking for did he notice that it was already on his guitar... Then again, guitarists aren't real people, are they?

I resent your characterization that not only do we guitarists not exist, but that we are disorganized or absent-minded layabouts who cannot be bothered to be mindful about where we place our possessions, and maybe, if your assertions were true, you would realize that our lack of existence makes it quite difficult for us to recognize our position relative to a given object.  I for one think you ought to be forced into sensitivity training before you go dismissing existences all willy-nilly and adding insult to injury by accusing others of not knowing where they put their capotasto.
