Hi guys, the album Discus Ursi  http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=22138" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=22138  is not a Par Lindh and Bjorn Johanson album, it's credited exclusively to Johansson.

Please delete the album until Bjorh Johansson has a page.

Quote Johansson, Björn [Sweden]

Discus Ursis is his first solo album. Mainly instrumental, it also features vocals on two (long) tracks. Very classic symphonic, the closest comparison could be  http://gepr.net/ha.html#STEVEHACKETT" rel="nofollow - Steve Hackett , although in the 20 minutes opus "Discus Ursis Rhapsody"  http://gepr.net/o.html#OLDFIELDMIKE" rel="nofollow - Mike Oldfield  comes again to mind. http://gepr.net/l.html#LINDHPAR" rel="nofollow - Pär Lindh  is featured on some of the keyboards and drums, although Johansson handles most of the instruments. As on Bilbo, there are some medieval and classical influences that make this record highly interesting, because of his variety, for many prog fans. Once again only one complaint: the vocals. Not only the voice of the male singer is far from perfection, but the form of the lyrics (not the content) isn't very successful either. -- Paco Fox

Please delete it before any review is added.

We will try to create a Bjorn Johansson page if approved by the team.

Well guys, don't delete it yet, because I asked my teammates to approve a Bjorn Johansson page.

If approved, we can't move this album (The only Johansson release) to his page.

What I ask is to be carefull, we can't afford this mistakes.

Indeed. And keep Snowy up to date on Bjorn Johansson (but don't let the fact that this album is in the archives be a reason to accept him Wink)

I believed it's an error, so please indicate me where else should I post this

Thanks

Yes I doubted about adding him as yopu do, but Discus Ursi is the only Johansson's album and it's classsic Symphonic.

All errors are now reported here...

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82726" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=82726

BUT...as you wanted it deleted I was thinking the duplicate entries thread.

http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=59458" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=59458

BUT..it isn't actually a duplicated entry.

On reflection, as this was rather a special case, I think creating a new thread as you did, is the right thing to do.Wink

Thanks Snow Dog.

Here we have two alternatives

1.- Deleting the album
2.- Creating a new page for Johansson

Personally i go with the second one after reflecting and re-listening the album.

And honestly, I didn't knew about the new thread.

^ If he will be added then there is no problem. Seems the best option is to wait a while and see if he is voted in.

Bjorn Johansson has been added to Symphonic and Discus Ursi moved from Lindh & Johansson to Bjorn Johansson  http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=7112" rel="nofollow - http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=7112

The bio of Johansson has been written by Anton-Fritz (Southsideofthesky) getting info out of nowhere.

The problem is that the photo of Discus Ursi has been deleted by the system, and I can't add a new one. Soi any Adm, please add it

Thanks

Iván

EDIT: Found how to solve the problem and updated the photo
