Sorry. All I know is that there is a Hawkwind song with chickens clucking. But of course, they aren't German.

Thanks Snow Dog, I'm gonna check my Hawkwind albums... maybe the song is theirs, I may be wrong when I said a German band plays it.

only chicken clucks I found was at the beginning of this song by Ice Age but I am pretty certain that it isn't what you're looking for.

Some more clues:

The cuckls were on the opening part of the track, even maybe on the opening track of the album (70's)

Doubt if this is it but here's a chicken song from Bob Geldof (1992):

Thanks for the suggestion! Sadly, that is not the song I'm looking for... as I said a bit later on the post, the track is from a 70's album.

This one´s got Buddy Miles doing a chicken solo mid-song which sounds pretty cool and altogether frightening to birds I´d imagine:

I don´t think it´s German thoughTongue

I think the song "Down on the Farm" by Camel might have a part for chickens, but I don't really remember at all.

The track you are looking for is on the Guru Guru album "Mani und seine Freunde" and called "Chicken Rock". At the beginning of the track a chicken goes "cluck-cluck-cluck-cluck-cluck-ah, cluck-cluck-cluck-ah, cluck-cluck-cluck-ah"; that rhythm is picked up by the band then. The song is about a chicken farmer who takes an LSD-trip and let's all his chickens fly then.

A track with similar lyrics, but in German, and with totally different music appears on "Hey Du!" by the same artist and is called "Dös war I" there.

Ohh, at first I thought "This could be THE ONE": Guru Guru is a band I have listened to in the past, but not so often to actually retain each track on my mind.

Unfortunately, that one also is not the one I'm looking for Cry

Anyways, that Chicken Rock song is fantastic! Amazing how the band builds up the rhythm based on the chicken's cluckling. Thanks a lot for showing me that song Smile
