Greetings and salutations
We'd love to get a few reviews of our album having just recently been added to ProgArchives under the "Heavy Prog" category.
You can read up about us and our debut album http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=6858" rel="nofollow - here on this website , or on our http://www.theanabasisproject.com" rel="nofollow - official website , or even on our http://10trecords.com/artists/genres/progressive-experimental/the-anabasis/the-anabasis-discography/" rel="nofollow - record label's website . (where you can also stream the entire album)
Our debut album has just been released and we've been fortunate to have received a http://www.ytsejam.com/modules.php?name=Reviews&rop=showcontent&id=1979" rel="nofollow - 4 star review from Tommy Hash at Ytsejam.com, but I thought why not ask the people here on the ProgArchives site if they'd like to take a stab at it....
If I were to describe our music, I'd say we sound like a mash-up of Spock's Beard, Transatlantic and Iron Maiden with a sprinkling of Fates Warning and Dream Theater tossed in there as well. Given that Ryo Okumoto (of Spock's Beard) is our keyboard player, there is no shortage of moog solos and lots of lush orchestration and acoustic piano as well.
So, if anyone feels up to the task of reviewing the album, I will be thrilled to provide you with a high-quality digital version of the album along with the full booklet in PDF format so that you also have the lyrics to follow along with. Simply PM me here on this board or send an email to reviews -at- theanabasisproject.com and I will send you a link.
We obviously can't give away unlimited digital copies of the CD, so let's say the fist 5 members who ask for a copy to review will receive one.
Thanks for your interest.

Funny you mentioned Iron Maiden. It is exactly what I thought. It has a sound Of early Maiden if they had tried to be a Prog band instead. No bad thing.

Yeah, well, Iron Maiden are one of my all-time favorite bands and my writing is definitely influenced by them quite a bit. You'll hear the use of harmony guitars, especially in the closing epic, "Egypt"

Oh, um, yeah, I didn't really know about the, um, history so I apologize if I opened any old wounds.
Anyway, we're still hoping that some other people here will take us up on the offer to receive a free (and legal) digital copy of our album and post a review here.

Wow, man, you are one hell of a good writer. That is an excellent review, and I don't just mean the obvious kudos you've given us, for which I am deeply grateful, but your writing itself, the prose, the commentary, the vocabulary, is top notch. Well done, sir, and thank you very, very much.
