Just recently I bought some Kurosawa movies to see what was the fuss about, and I was completely fascinated by them. I specially loved Rashomon (mind you that I still have to watch Seven Samurai...sacrilege...I know).
Pick your favorite. Anyway the poll is just an excuse to see your opinions and possible debates.

I'm not a fan of Kurosawa, despite I respect his work, so if I have to choose, I would go with Kagemusha slightly over Seven Samurai.

I haven't seen it in many years, but I loved Dodes'ka-den.

Call me a Kurosawa newbie, because I've only seen Seven Samurai and Kagemusha so far...both have been good movies, and I've been meaning to check out more of his works.

The supreme master of cinema. Though, I have'nt seen all their movies yet.
Voted on Seven Samurai, but Kagemusha and Ran are masterpieces too!

I know I left some out some, that's why I put the "Other" option.

I've seen a few... Yojimbo is overrated. Just an action movie, as I remember. But Ran is great. I like the story .

Rashomon is my favorite - best story, best acting, great scenario. Kagemusha is absolutely gorgeous to look at. Seven Samurai is a simple story stretched to 3 hours, but still worth it.

Two pieces of information to offer here. 1) Dreams is one of the most beautiful and one of my favourite films ever made. 2) It is also the only Kurowasa I've seen so far.

Haven't seen them all. Just a few. But love 'em all! And Toshiro Mifune was such a great actor...

I've seen 23 (out of 31?) of his movies and Yojimbo is my favorite (followed by Ikiru and Rashômon).

I've only seen a handful, but I love the whole idea of Rashomon.

I like all of his movies that I've seen, though I personally prefer the other Kurosawa.

I haven’t seen many of them, but I can absolutely recommend his take on King Lear (Ran).

Toughie. One of the greatest, and of my favourites. Along my favourites
are Seven Samurai, Ikiru, Rashomon, Yojimbo and Ran. My girlfriend's
favourite is Akahige ("Red Beard"), because she's a doctor. :)
I also know and love Stray Dog, Hidden Fortress and Sanjuro.

Haven't seen every movie of him, but I like the later production era. Long I like Ran most, but due age I have started to appreciate Dersu Uzala most, and voted for it.
