You should check out most review made on http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=710 - Psychotic Waltz reviews. There is no Prog reviewer who checked out so far on of there albums, only fanboys of the progmetal band, and they are really giving too many higher ratings. Somes are really as (if not more) annoying as those Dream Theater reviews (you know the ones I am talking about). There's also something strange about those reviews too; they all talk about the sames ideas, and all looks like each others...
Here's the overall ratings of the Psychotic Waltz albums:

You ever listen to Psychotic Waltz, mate? They're brilliant, but they're definitely not the typical cup of progmetal tea.

I checked out the MP3 avaible on the site. Wasn't impressed much. I'll try to find some more though.
Still, I think there's a problem with the reviews on this site, but well, if no one care...

16 ratings - all five stars!?
I can't really judge as I haven't heard anything by Psychotic Waltz, but still...sounds weird.

On the Top 100 today, "Into The Everflow" is at No. 55 and "Tales From Topographic Oceans" is at No. 56.
"Into The Everflow" must be one heck of an album!

metal blade released their albums again 1.5 year ago in a two double cd
boxes. the frist one contains mosquito and socail grace and the second

someone to get the at low price and avoid paying the money we paid 10
years ago in order to get them

For those curious, Psychotic Waltz was the band Devon Graves was in
(under his real name, Buddy Lackey) before he created Dead Soul Tribe
and worked with Ayreon on The Human Equation. It's GREAT stuff,
and I *love* Into The Everflow. And no, I didn't review it.

i made a rewiew for an album (can't remember which one, i think
it was into the everflow) and i marked all their albums in it. i cannot
be subjective with waltz, they are my fave metal band and i don't want
to be subjective. if you think that my rewiew is not the appropriate
then don't take it seriously and keep on listening to DT or POS.

I recently bought two Psychotic Waltz albums (Everflow and Bleeding) and I thought "isn't that Devon Graves?".
BTW: Dead Soul Tribe is great!

Psychotic Waltz, along with Fates Warning (+ watchtower maybe, but they're a bit too techy I think), are the two ultimate prog metal bands, historically speaking, and PW's albums are all of a consistent quality (whether that's high quality or not is in the ear of the beholder, so to speak).
The only people likely to review PW are those who listen to prog metal, and I should think the vast majority of people into prog metal would rate all their albums very highly.
This topic'll probably alert all those people who haven't heard them yet and bring the ratings down a bit .
A side note to anyone who's got the double album + bonus CD releases: what's the bonus CD like? Those two are somewhere near the top of my list to buy when I FINALLY GET SOME MONEY!

Half of the reviews are missing. Why were they removed?
The main reason is that probably some (old enough)
moderators would love to see only PFloyd, Genesis and Yes in the top 50
imho.

GENESIS Trespass
Review (Permanent link) by Lethe @ 7:32:05 PM EST, 4/1/2004
SPECIAL COLLABORATION
— Another remarkable and unforgettable album by the early GENESIS, even though the production was quite weak at that time. It never minds because it contains almost the whole classics of the band, such as the famous suite "Supper's Ready", the underrated and surprising "Can'Utility and the Coastliners" or the famous unplugged instrumental number by Steve HACKETT "Horizon". Another important work!!
Obviously a misplaced review!

Nothing was removed. It is possible to submit ratings without reviews. So you might see an album with 17 ratings but only 6 reviews, it's not unusual.

Didn't want to be offensive.
