Hey everyone. I haven't posted here much, but I lurk a lot. I've been working on a prog rock album with a number of singers for about 2 years now, and trying to balance it with my studies, so it was a pretty rocky ride. But finally, it's here. The project is called Abodean Skye, and this first album is entitled Transmission. We're releasing one song a week from the album for absolutely free, through Soundcloud, YouTube and other sources. Once everything is released there will be actual CDs and merch to order in case anyone really likes it and wants to help us out. The style is influenced by Ayreon, Triumvirat, ELP, Dream Theater, Tangerine Dream, Ozric Tentacles, which makes it a kind of combination of progressive rock, metal and ambient electronic music, with multiple singers on some songs.
