This problem has been going for a long, long while now, but I don't think it has ever been reported. When one tries to edit an album with an apostrophe in the title( from the "edit album" option on the album page), one gets a 500 error. The only solution is to delete the apostrophe from the title of the album and then put it back again by going through the Admin page. I reported similar problem to M@X in PM a month ago (he haven't read it yet):
"there is extremely unpleasant bug if album info contains diactric letters (like Á, á, ű, ...). How to reproduce: - edit info from the album page --> diactric letters disappear. It's enough to make any smallest change and after editing we'll see, for instance, Zoltn Fbin instead of Zoltán Fábián. Hours of work are often destroyed in a few seconds." I ask all collabs (until it will be fixed): Please NEVER edit albums' info with diactric letters from the album page. Edit them only from Admin area! | I also have problems adding albums with Romanian diacritics, especially ă. Sometimes I find similar diacritics that get displayed well by the PA software, but if I can't find it I prefer to use the letter without diacritics. |
