Hi I was stuck in the musical doldrums for some time and drifted heavily into jazz to satisfy my ear. I came across this site and I must say it has made me whole again! I did not realize that there was so much prog out there. I have discovered Porcupine Tree, IQ, and a wealth of others here. I like well recorded albums as well and have found some gems here. will post a request for perhaps a "10 albums to have" ideas elsewhere. Hopefully the hardcore proggers can enlighten me! mukster. |

Welcome, heck I wouldnt mind hearing a top ten jazz must haves myself. Im sure youll hear a wealth of music you like here.

I've been wanting to get into Jazz, because I have heard some amazing
songs. The sad part is that I never got the names of the
songs/bands I heard! What would you suggest to someone who
desires more complex Jazz (not the new Jazz using only keyboards) with
loud drums and those excellent bass players?
