Breadfan. Breaking All The House Rules In The Grip Of a Tyrefitters Hands Parents. Zoom Club Hammer and Tongs And many more. Most of the seventies albums are superb. They went metal in the eighties.

All of their albums up to and including 1982's Deliver Us From Evil are worthwhile and recommended listening, the best one being Impeckable-the six-string guitarist after Impeckable is John Thomas, and before that, Tony Bourge, one of the most under-rated musicians ever-with John Thomas, the band became more straight ahead metal, but still music of a high quality-they became their most progressive with If I Were Brittania and Impeckable Budgie-Budgie (1971) -Squawk (1972) -Never Turn Your Back On A Friend (1973) -In For The Kill (1974) -Bandolier (1975) -If I Were Brittania, I'd Waive The Rules (1976) -Impeckable (1978) -If Swallowed, Do Not Induce Vomiting (EP-1979) -Power Supply (1980-best album put out in the 80's) -Nightflight (1981) -Deliver Us From Evil (1982) i have not heard anything beyond this, so cannot judge on that |

Deliver Us From Evil features, for the first time, a keyboardist, Duncan Mackay In 1980, Budgie headlined the Reading Festival in England, and returned to do the same in 81 and 82 Original guitarist Tony Bourge and drummer Ray Phillips reformed and released an album under the name Tredegar-never heard it, but heard that it is true to the Budgie sound For awhile in the seventies, they had an additional guitarist named Myf Isaac, and also had former Trapeze guitar player Rob Kendrick as part of the band at one point in the seventies |

If I were you, I'd go out and buy the first five albums and Night Flight, which was released in 1981. They have an excellent musical direction, if you ask me. -------------
